Wordplace is a project created to present the complicated and awkward moment happened in conversation caused by language barrier the artist as an immigrant, facing in multilingual community.
Suphitcha used tiny head pens and pencils in monochrome with etching style drawing as her medium to emphasize the idea of uncomfortable and complex feelings. This technique is not only allowed her to create the intricate details, but also allowed her to expressed her depression and lost in sense of belonging towards the situation.
Wordplace was selected to be part of Autopilot Art Show at BACC ( Bangkok Art and Cultural Center ) in May 2015.
A Heart project was part of Thai Selected Exhibition curated by Hof Art Bangkok at OSSAM Gallery, Brooklyn in October 2016
